I used this product for one year, I covered, took care of it. next season, it worked 20% of capacity. Cheap chinese motor inside, not meant to last more than one season. get a quality pump if you want more than one year service, this is junk!!!

This item works great in my pond (900 gallons) and the fish seem much more active since I have added this. Note that for outdoor use the compressor unit must be covered or you will void the warranty. I would definitely recommend this and would buy another if I ever add another pond.

I installed this product last fall and had no problem with the fish. I installed in a 5 gallon bucket outside beside the pond with no issues.
