I have been using these pumps for decades and they work great for many years. They have lots of head pressure which is why I prefer them. On this particular buying cycle the first one I bought would fail to start when plugged in. Turning the impeller with a screwdriver would start it, and then it would work fine until the next time I went to start it. I returned the pump for a replacement (which went smoothly and with no hassles). The second one is working as expeced.
