I purchased this for my 2013 Ford Escape Titanium. The kit includes everything needed to install, minus the tools. The instructions are pretty comprehensive; however, the removal of the taillights can be a bit tricky. The key is to push rearward (in relation to the vehicle) and slightly up in order to keep the metal alignment dowel installed on the lights from scratching the paint. Other than the lights, the install went smooth. They include plenty of wire for supplying 12vdc to the module. Running the connectors up to the lights from under the vehicle is a little tricky due to the very small holes you can utilize, but it can be done. I prefer to use these modules for several reasons. The first is that you do not have to tie into any of the existing wiring which could cause corrosion, or loss of connectivity over time. The second is the safety of not overloading the vehicles lighting circuit in the event that a trailer has a short. I installed a Hopkins 47185 Multi-Tow Adapter at the same time I installed this T connector/overload protect and they work very well together. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking to install a hitch on their 2013 Ford Escape.
