I had never used polyrope before. I have a precocious 20 yr old gelding that thinks he is a 2 yr old. He is mischievous and constantly in trouble. His mother was nicknamed Houdini and I think he has inherited her slippery tendencies. He can clearyl see this rope and I have not had a minutes trouble with him since I installed it. I had used wire before and the rascally horse would manage to short it out and tear it down. Once I installed this and let him out he went right up to it with in about a foot of the rope and stopped. He looked at it and turned his head side to side then turned and walked away. He keeps his distance. I don't know how he knows what it is but he seems to be aware. I am extremely pleased with it.
